How to Register
Complete the Workshop Registration Form and mail along with the $85 registration fee (cheques made payable to Special Olympics Saskatchewan) to the address shown at the bottom of the registration form. Registration forms must be received by our office 10 days prior to the clinic.
Course Fees and Related Expenses Reimbursement
Course Fees ($85) · If you are of Aboriginal Descent, you are eligible for 100% reimbursement through Sask Sport’s Aboriginal Coaches and Officials Program. Forms will be provided at the Workshop. Participants must complete these forms and return to the course facilitator who will then have them forwarded on to Sask Sport for reimbursement. · If you are or will be a registered member of Special Olympics Saskatchewan (SOS) for the 2008-2009 program year and are not of Aboriginal Descent, you are eligible for 50% reimbursement through SOS’s Coaches and Professional Development Grant. Forms will be provided at the Workshop. Participants must complete these forms and return to the course facilitator who will then have them forwarded on to the SOS Provincial Office for reimbursement. Related Expenses (Travel/Mileage) · If you are or will be a registered member of Special Olympics Saskatchewan (SOS) for the 2008-2009 program year, you are eligible for 50% reimbursement. Forms will be provided at the Workshop. Participants must complete these forms and return to the course facilitator who will then have them forwarded on to the SOS Provincial Office for reimbursement. · Check with your community executive to see if they will also assist with expenses, as they may offer some compensation for their volunteers. ***Please note that volunteer coaches are required to attain their Special Olympics Coach Training within one year of becoming a volunteer. This training is required to ensure our athletes receive the best training possible. We are a Provincial Sport Governing Body and we follow the same coaching guidelines as any other sport organization. Please let me know if you have any further questions. *** Specific clinic details will only be given to those who register. They will be sent via email approximately 5 days prior to the clinic taking place.

Respect in Sport Training This is an online training opportunity that is highly recommended for everyone, not just coaches. This course is recognized by NCCP and upon completion will be listed on your NCCP Coaching Transcript. This opportunity is FREE until the end of 2008.
